Sometimes, people just get it right.
Roderick Klimek is terrific as a small-town sheriff trying to track down a truly maniacal and scary killer. This film may have been inexpensive to make, but there is nothing cheap about it. The story is simple, but the execution is excellent. A deftly photographed indie horror movie with competent performances and plenty of gore and suspense. Kudos to the cast and crew for getting this one right.

We will take him in together
Billy (Roderick Klimek) and Donnie (Matthew Lafferty) are brothers and cops. They put away the county’s biggest cocaine dealer then suddenly a serial killer who wears bib overalls and a flimsy clown mask terrorize this small community.

There was no background on the killer. He puts his mask on after the first killing. There is a long boring story about Donnie and his books as well as a poorly filmed conversation of Donnie and his fiancee which sounded like it was filmed in a house with a tin roof during a downpour. The overall indoor sound quality was tinny. The killer had an annoying laugh and I am not sure why he kept laughing. In one scene after he had his teeth pulled out, he has teeth.

Nice to know a Ryobi 14″ chainsaw can cut through bone without any kickback.

Characters started out good but then got annoying. Why did everyone in this northern town have a southern accent except for the outsider, big head Andrew who can’t act?
